Bridges Named Chief Financial Officer

TIFTON –Amanda Bridges has been appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the ABAC Foundation, Inc.  She will also serve in a dual capacity as Chief Accounting Officer for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

Bridges received her associate’s degree from ABAC in Computer Science. She furthered her education at Georgia Southwestern University, attaining her Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Management by taking all her junior and senior level classes on the ABAC campus.  Bridges then completed her Master’s of Business Administration degree from Valdosta State University.

“I am excited about the opportunity and challenge and feel honored to be chosen for this position,” Bridges said of her new appointment.

Bridges will develop Foundation policies and procedures, as well as a financial reporting system that will serve the needs of the college, the ABAC Foundation, and its board.

“With established policies and procedures, ABAC Foundation processes will be more transparent and allow the Office of College Advancement to better serve our constituents,” Bridges said.

Before joining the ABAC Advancement Office staff in 2005, Bridges worked as an accountant for three years at the University of Georgia (UGA) Tifton Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.
